Triphala is considered a good remedy for constipation in Ayurveda. Triphala tea can be drunk to relieve constipation. Apart from this, take half a teaspoon of coriander seeds, a quarter teaspoon of cardamom seeds and a quarter teaspoon of Triphala and grind all three well. You can use this powder to make Triphala water or tea.
milk and ghee
In constipation, those things are consumed which are soft and which make it easier to pass stools. One such thing is milk with ghee. Drinking hot milk mixed with Ghee provides relief from constipation.
Fennel water is beneficial in getting rid of both constipation and gas problems. Fennel can be drunk by mixing it in hot water or you can consume it the next day after soaking the fennel overnight.
Consuming carom seeds proves to be highly beneficial in case of gas. Roast the carom seeds, add a little black salt to it and drink it with water. You will feel relief from the gas in no time.
Asafoetida is effective in inhibiting the gut bacteria that occur in the stomach. Consuming a pinch of asafetida can provide relief in gas. In Ayurveda, it is also called the remover of Vata dosha.
Cumin water can be drunk to cool the stomach and remove gas. To make it, take a spoonful of cumin and boil it in 2 cups of water for 10 to 15 minutes. Now after cooling, filter it and drink it.
