According to Wabatinfo, a website that monitors WhatsApp development, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will give iOS users the option to edit messages. In which you can see that after editing a message, an alert message is being sent from WhatsApp to the other person. Under the new feature, you will be able to edit the message only for 15 minutes. That is, after sending the message, you can change it only for the next 15 minutes.
However, under the new feature, you will only be able to edit messages and not media captions. This means that if you have typed and sent something with a video or photo and it is wrong, you will not be able to list it again. Currently this feature is being developed for some iOS users, which will be launched later in beta version. Later it will be launched for everyone in the coming (how edit already sent whatsapp messages) time. No word yet on when it will be released for Android.
At the same time, recently WhatsApp’s parent company Meta has recently announced ‘Paid Verification’ service for its two platforms Instagram and Facebook.
