If you have got Corona Vaccine and you get Omicron infection, then you do not need to panic, but it can prove to be helpful for you. Initial results of a research point in this direction. According to Bloomberg reportSome studies show that after infection with Omicron, the immune system becomes better than any booster shot. BioNtech SE and Washington University, the maker of the Kovid 19 vaccine, have said this in the initial results of their research done in the last few weeks.

These results suggest that millions of vaccinated people who have Omicron will not become seriously ill from another variant anytime soon. For the time being, this research is yet to be confirmed, especially on the basis of anecdotal evidence.

“We have to think about overcoming the infection, especially those that act like another dose of vaccine,” says John Varys, a professor at the Institute for Immunology at the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Veri is not part of this research but has reviewed the BioNTech study. He says that this could mean that if someone has recently had covid, they can wait before getting another booster shot.

Omicron expands rapidly

Alexandra Walls, Principal Scientist at the University of Washington, who has previously written a study, warns people not to deliberately think of getting infected based on the initial results of the new research.

Sam Fazzelli, an analyst with Bloomberg Intelligence, says, “These figures come at a time when Omicron infection is spreading in many places in the world. Especially in China where residents of Shanghai have been in lockdown for about 6 weeks. The wave of new infections is fast. Because Omicron spreads so rapidly, it also increases the risk of mutating from it as many countries are easing restrictions. Meanwhile, regulators are assessing whether the COVID vaccine should be used to target Omicron. Need to be updated?

The BioNTech team argued that the data indicates that the Omicron-adapted booster shot may be better for people.
