PM Narendra Modi has said that our constitution is not just a collection of many streams, but it is a modern expression of the great tradition of millennia, the unbroken stream. The Prime Minister expressed these views on the occasion of Constitution Day on Friday. He said that this Constitution Day should also be celebrated because our path should be celebrated to evaluate whether it is right or not. This is a day to remember the gift Babasaheb Ambedkar has given to us and the country. It is a day to salute the House. PM Modi said that today is the day to pay homage to forward-looking great personalities like Babasaheb Ambedkar and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. President Ram Nath Kovind and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla were also present in the program.

The PM said that it was the 125th birth anniversary of Babasaheb Ambedkar, in such a situation, we all felt that what could be a bigger holy occasion than the tribute that Babasaheb has given to this country, we should always remember it in the form of a memory book. The country is heading towards such a crisis, which is a matter of concern for the people devoted to the Constitution, it is a matter of concern for those who believe in democracy and that is the family parties. More than one person from a family on the basis of merit does not make the party family-oriented Loses character: How can the parties which themselves have lost their democratic character, protect democracy?

The Prime Minister said that Mahatma Gandhi had tried to prepare him for duties, even while fighting for the rights in the freedom movement. It would have been good if after the independence of the country, the emphasis on duty would have been given, in the nectar festival of freedom, it is necessary for us to move forward on the path of duty so that the rights are protected. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also addressed the program, he congratulated the countrymen on Constitution Day and said that the Constitution is the holy book of our great cultural heritage and ideals. It is the source of our rights, which also makes us aware of our obligations. Constitution is a spirit which gives us the strength to connect. The constitution shows the way to fulfill the hopes, aspirations and expectations of the people. Salute to our constitutional sages who created such a wonderful constitution.
