New Delhi, Online Desk. The International Cricket Council has released the latest T20 batting rankings. Indian opener KL Rahul, who showed a strong performance in the ICC T20 World Cup and then against New Zealand, has gained in the rankings. The same Virat Kohli has suffered and he is out of the top 10 batting rankings.

Rahul has gained one place in the latest rankings of T20 batsmen. Whereas former T20 captain Kohli has been out of the list for the first time after being in the top 10 for a long time. New Zealand’s legendary opener Martin Guptill and Pakistani opener Mohammad Rizwan have climbed up the rankings, who have shown a good game in the T20 World Cup.

Rahul, who has scored 4 half-centuries in his last 5 innings, has climbed up a place to finish fifth. Kohli, who was ranked eighth in last week’s rankings, has slipped out of the top 10 to number 11. Rohit Sharma, who was appointed the captain of the Indian T20 team, has improved two places to 13th position.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam is in the first place while England’s David Malan is at number two. South Africa’s Aidan Markram is third and Pakistan’s Rizwan is at number four. He was at number five, this place has been taken by Indian opener KS. Australia captain Finch has moved up a place to Devon Conway from number four to seventh. Jos Buttler of England is at number eight. South Africa’s Van der Duren is 9th while Guptill is 10th.
