Islamabad, Pretr. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that his government will support China’s investment in the country on a priority basis. He has directed the officials to immediately address the issues related to road connectivity and difficulties being faced by Chinese investors. Imran Khan made the remarks during a meeting with a Chinese business delegation led by Chen Yan of Challenge Fashion (Pvt) Limited on Saturday.

Chinese business ready to start work in glass, ceramic and IT sectors

“We will support the sugar industry in Pakistan on a priority basis and are grateful to him for his keen interest in accelerating investments in special economic zones,” the government-run Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) quoted Imran as saying. Khan was informed that Chinese businessmen are ready to start work in the glass, ceramic and IT sectors.

Apart from this, leading Chinese consumer electronics and mobile company ‘Oppo’ is going to set up a mobile set manufacturing unit and an R&D center in Pakistan. Oppo’s decision to manufacture mobile sets in Pakistan will help the country save foreign exchange reserves spent on importing smartphones and create jobs for technical graduates.

Imran should resign unaware of the sufferings of common people: Abbasi

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said, the present government is oblivious to the suffering of the common people and is not fit to govern. So Prime Minister Imran should resign immediately. The leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz said, “Incidents of rigging in 2018 elections were coming to the fore gradually.
