Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been surrounded by allegations in his own country. The opposition party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has accused the Imran government of looting billions of rupees. According to The News International, PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb made a scathing remark on Imran Khan in a statement on 9 October.

He said, “The doomsday of Imran Khan and the mafia has finally arrived and the people of the country should know how much their PM accounts and how their ATMs are full in three years. Maryam said that the time has passed for making allegations through speeches and tweets. He also said that Imran Khan cannot divert attention from the robbers by leveling allegations against Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif.

Let us inform that last week in Lahore, Nusrat Shahbaz, wife of PML-N president Shahbaz Sharif, was accused of money laundering by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). In the month of August last year, NAB also filed a money laundering case of Rs 8 billion against Sharif, his wife, their two sons and other family members in the NAB court. Sharif said during a National Assembly session in Islamabad that the current government has rendered five million people jobless, making it impossible for the poor to buy two meals a day.
