According to a news report by Pakistani news website Geo TV Urdu, this video is from Gujranwala. It is being said that after the video surfaced, the Deputy Commissioner has ordered an inquiry into the matter. Kinnar has alleged that government employees asked her to dance in exchange for ration. However, the in-charge of the government office rubbished the allegations and claimed that the video was old.
Pakistan’s condition deteriorated before IMF visit
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will launch the mission in January 2023 amid Pakistan’s deteriorating economic conditions. Under this mission, a team of IMF will visit Islamabad by the end of January. According to the Pakistani news agency The Nation, after accepting all the conditions of the IMF before the financial aid, the 9th Extended Fund Facility (EFF) will hold its discussion under review.
The IMF’s action follows a request for funds from the IMF by the Pakistani authorities. According to the report, Esther Perez Ruiz, Resident Representative of the IMF in Pakistan, said that an in-person Fund mission is scheduled to visit Islamabad from January 31 to February 9.
