New Delhi, PTI. Integrated Pension Portal will be prepared to make the life of the pensioners easier. The Centre’s Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DOPPW) will create this portal in collaboration with the country’s largest bank SBI. The Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions said in a statement that there is an urgent need to create a unified pension portal by linking the existing portals of DoPPW and SBI to provide seamless services to the pensioners. The statement also said that banks should do business promotion about the use of ‘Face Authentication’ technology for digital life certificates. Doing so will go a long way in making the life of the pensioners easier.

According to the statement, these programs are expected to go a long way in making the lives of pensioners easier. According to the statement, it is anticipated that through these schemes, the objective of making the life of the pensioners happy will be successful to a great extent. Four such awareness programs will be organized across the country in association with State Bank of India. The statement said that such awareness campaigns will also be conducted in the year 2022-23 in collaboration with other banks giving pension.
