New Delhi, ANI. After a few days of respite in Delhi-NCR, the pollution level has increased again. The Air Quality Index has been recorded in the very poor to severe category in many areas. In view of this, construction work has been again banned in Delhi, while school colleges will remain closed till November 28. Let us inform that on Wednesday, there was a hearing in the Supreme Court regarding pollution in Delhi-NCR.

The court had reprimanded the central government and said that why action is not taken before the situation worsens. Apart from this, the situation of pollution in many districts of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana also remains worrying. The level of pollution here too has been recorded in the very poor category.

According to the latest data of the Central Pollution Control Bureau, the pollution level in most areas of Delhi reached more than 400 on Thursday, which falls in the severe category. 445 in Anand Vihar, 432 in Sonia Vihar, 403 in Chandni Chowk, 469 in Jahangir Puri, 425 in Mundka. 419 were recorded in Okhla, 378 in Punjabi Bagh and 461 in Wazirpur.

Even in Uttar Pradesh, the situation does not seem to be getting back to normal. The pollution level in Noida and Ghaziabad adjoining Delhi remains in the severe category. There are 332 in Indrapuram in Ghaziabad, 479 in Vasundhara 360 Loni. Apart from this, 421 has been recorded in Sector 62 of Noida. According to the latest data, the AQI level in Yamunapuram of Bulandshahr in UP has been recorded at 371.
