New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie says she is proud of Marvel Studios’ decision to not remove any scenes from “Eternals” in order to obtain distribution certificates in countries like Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. .

Directed by Oscar winner Chloe Zhao, “Eternals” hit Indian cinemas on Friday. It was scheduled to be released on November 11 in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Oman, but the censors there allowed the Disney-owned company to place the characters between Fastos and Haj Sliman. Was asked to remove homosexual intimate scenes.

Jolie, who plays Thena in the film, said she is saddened for the audience in countries where the film will not release due to censor issues. “I feel sad for them…and I’m proud of Marvel for refusing to cut those scenes,” Jolie said in an interview on Zoom. “Eternals” has been released in India in English, English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
