Public theft: Two thieves escaped from builder’s office in Surat after stealing 90 lakh rupees in 30 minutes, the employees did not even know

Thieves targeted a builder’s office near St Thomas’ School on New City Light Road in Surat. The thieves stole cash worth Rs 90 lakh and escaped in just 30 minutes. In this regard, the builder’s office manager has lodged a complaint with Khatodara police station.

According to Khatodara police, Mahendra Harikishan Rathi, a resident of Kabir Nikunj Society located on Vanita Park Road, Bhatar, is the manager in the office of a builder named Gopal Dokani, located near St. Thomas School, New City Light Road. On Sunday night, thieves targeted the builder’s office and stole Rs 90 lakh in just 30 minutes.

10-15 employees were in the office
Mahendra Rathi, in the complaint lodged at Khatodara police station, said that the thieves had come to commit the crime wearing a mask on their face. The police have started investigation based on the CCTV footage of the office. The police suspect that some acquaintance has done the crime by giving a tip. Surprisingly, when the theft happened at 8.15 pm on Sunday, the office was open and 10 to 15 persons were working. Both the thieves entered through the back door and within 30 minutes the theft escaped.

The thieves didn’t even let anyone know. The thieves entered the builder’s office through the back door and took the key from the drawer of the table inside and stole Rs 90 lakh kept in the safe. The theft was discovered when the staff of builder Gopal Dokani came to the office on Tuesday morning. When the employees checked the CCTV cameras, it was found that on Sunday night, two unidentified persons stole Rs 90 lakh from the safe and escaped.
