In the meeting of the District Panchayat General Assembly, the Chairman and other members surrounded the officers raising questions on the disorder of the Education Department. Chairman Jitendra Pandey made serious allegations against Bilha BEO RS Rathore of illegal recovery on maternity leave and demanded an inquiry. Similarly, for three years, the sports teacher of Takhatpur school was questioned for being attached to Pendra. On the complaint against Bilha BEO, DEO Kaushik said that no such complaint has come.
Nevertheless, the DEO assured the members that the matter would be investigated. Damendra Singh, a teacher posted in Takhatpur School, is engaged in Pendra since the year 2019. On this, the Chairman said that no department has such a long attachment. His salary is coming out of Takhatpur school. The DEO said that his attachment has not been done at the district level but from DPI Raipur. On this, the Chairman said that if Pendra is to be kept regular, then there should be an alternative arrangement for his other teacher in Takhatpur school.
A flurry of questions, roundabout answers of officers
District Panchayat Chairman Ankit Gouraha asked CMHO Pramod Mahajan that there is a shortage of doctors in Paunsara. CMHO said that appointment is to be made from the government. District Panchayat President Arun Chauhan asked whether alternative arrangements can be made before appointment.

For what purpose is his money being spent? Sunil Bachchan, SDO of Bilaspur Forest Division, who was present in the meeting, told that Kanan Pendari DFO can answer this.
