The comedian, who made his mark in the world of standup, today said goodbye to the world forever. Raju Srivastava, who made everyone laugh, was admitted to AIIMS for several days after the heart attack. Doctors declared him brain dead.

Raju Srivastava was born on 25 December 1963 in Kanpur. His real name was Satya Prakash Srivastava. He made his identity under the name of Raju Srivastava. Talking about the family, Raju Srivastava married Shikha Srivastava in 1993. they have two children. Raju Srivastava used to keep his personal life private, he rarely used to put a picture with his family on social media.

‘Gajodhar Bhaiya’ laughed a lot

People of Kanpur city liked the style of Raju. As soon as he entered the stage, it started raining laughter. Raju Srivastava has worked in many films, but he got his real identity from TV. Everyone loved his timing in comedy and getting into any character. Raju Srivastava sometimes played a lot on stage by becoming a brother-in-law and sometimes expressed his displeasure by becoming a cousin. Although he used to do mimicry from school time, but he got real recognition after appearing in ‘Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. After that he also worked in many films. Raju’s comedy in many films like Bombay to Goa, Bhavna Ko Samjho, Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon was excellent. He had been in the Bollywood industry for more than three decades and was working continuously for thirty years.

Raju had entered politics too

Talking about politics, in 2014, he got a chance to contest elections from Akhilesh Yadav’s party. But on March 11, 2014, Raju left the Samajwadi Party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. Raju Srivastava was the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. His name was nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to handle the campaign of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
