Jagran Correspondent, Patna: The process of campus selection is going on for the students of 2022 batch of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). This process will continue till April. In the second phase, 245 students got 313 placement offers. In this, 190 students of BTech and 55 students of MTech have been given placements. Nine students have got the maximum package of Rs 61.2 lakh. In this, five students of B.Tech Computer Science and three of Electrical Engineering and one student of M.Tech Computer Science are included. Atlassian has been offered Rs 57.4 lakh per annum to six students. A student has been offered Rs 51.10 lakh by MTX. Adobe India has offered Rs 48 lakh to nine students, while Accenture has offered the highest amount of Rs 47.9 lakh to three students from Japan in the international package. Google India has offered a package of Rs 46.5 lakh to 10 students for the SWE role.

99 percent placement for computer science engineering students

Training and Placement Officer Prof. Kripa Shankar Singh said that so far more than 96 percent BTech and more than 50 percent MTech students have got placements. The highest number of placements were given to 99 percent computer science engineering students. It is followed by electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering and chemical engineering. Big companies this year include Larsen & Toubro, Sprinkler, Daylight, NSL Hub, Dhani, Optum, Media.Net, Bash, Gamescraft, Mathsworks, Trilogy Innovations, Smartkine, Zomato, Plutus Research, Oyo Rooms, Texas Instruments, Housing.com, More than 110 companies have participated in the campus recruitment for the first time along with Sterlite Technologies, Tata Electronics, NetApp, Unacademy, Sears, Flipkart, Qualcomm, Paytm, Tata Digital.
