Republic Day 2023: Today the country is celebrating 74th Republic Day where the fervor of 26th January is being seen all around. Lady officer Chetna Sharma will lead the missile contingent on the path of duty in the parade on the occasion of 74th Republic Day. Chetna will be seen with the Bike Rider Daredevils team. In this episode, for the first time, a women’s contingent of BSF will be seen riding a camel on the path of duty.

The presence of women officers in all the three wings of the army and their increasing representation will be reflected in the Republic Day parade. After the Navy and the Air Force, now women officers in the Army will also lead the marching contingent parade. During the demonstration of the indigenous Akash missile system in the Army, the young officer Lieutenant Chetna Sharma will lead it to demonstrate women empowerment. The specialty of this missile is that it is highly capable of hitting the air from the surface.

Lieutenant Dimple Bhati of the Corps of Signals will be part of the daredevils motorcycle team of the Indian Army on Republic Day, which will salute the tricolor in the parade on the path of duty. Lieutenant Dimple Bhati is the granddaughter of Param Vir Chakra awardee Shaitan Singh Bhati. Lt. Bhati’s elder sister Lt. Divya Bhati is also serving in the Indian Army.

Lt. Disha Amrit

In the Indian Navy contingent, Lieutenant Commander Disha Amrit will lead 144 young sailors in the Republic Day parade on duty. This year the theme of the naval tableau has been kept as Nari Shakti.

Squadron Leader Sindhu Reddy

Squadron Leader Sindhu Reddy, a Mi-17 pilot, will lead the marching contingent of the Indian Air Force in the Parade of Duty on the Republic Day. The Indian Air Force contingent will be led by Squadron Leader Reddy, along with three extraterrestrial naval officers.
