Delhi Metro, which provides excellent transport facility to the citizens, does not have a completion certificate of any station premises built in Faridabad. The date of fire NOC has also expired at most of the stations. Not only this, the municipal corporation also does not have a valid connection for water use and drainage. This has been revealed from the information sought under RTI.
Ajay Behl, head of the RTI Association, had sought information from the Delhi Metro Corporation on building security and other subjects under the Right to Information Act 2005. In response, DMRC stated that no valid connection has been received from the Municipal Corporation for the use or withdrawal of water for any of their stations or residential premises and no usage fee is being paid by them to the Municipal Corporation. Fire NOCs for most of the stations and residential premises were issued 5 years ago which has now expired. In another reply dated October 7, DMRC has said that till date none of their buildings, stations or residential premises have been given the completion certificate by the Haryana Government or the Haryana Urban Development Authority.
