New Delhi, Jnn. Rohan Vinod Mehra, son of late Vinod Mehra, one of the finest actors of English cinema, made his Bollywood debut in 2018 as an actor from the market. Saif Ali Khan, Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte were part of the main star cast in the film. The story of the market was based on the jumps and fluxes of the stock market. Incidentally, the second film of Rohan’s career, 420 IPC, is also a courtroom drama based on economic crime, which is slated to release on Zee5.

‘420 IPC’ is written and directed by Manish Gupta. Manish has previously written acclaimed films like Section 375, which starred Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha in lead roles. Apart from this, ‘Rahasya’ based on the Aarushi murder case and ‘The Stoneman Murders’ based on the infamous Stoneman serial killing was directed by Manish. ‘420 IPC’ is produced by Zee Studios and Curious Digital P.L. Apart from Rohan, Vinay Pathak, Ranvir Shorey and Gul Panag are in the lead roles.

The story of ‘420 IPC’ revolves around a chartered accountant played by Vinay Pathak, who is arrested for an economic offense and is defended by Rohan as Vinod Mehra. Ranvir Shorey plays an eccentric Parsi public prosecutor and Gul Panag will be seen as the wife of the accused CA.

Director and writer Manish Gupta shared, “A complex web-like plot woven around the theme of Economic Offense is at the heart of the film and the mystery unfolds slowly and steadily in the film, keeping the curiosity going till the end. . The film is a result of extensive research and I am glad that the audience will soon get to see the outcome on ZEE5.” ‘420 IPC’ will be available on ZEE5 from 17th December. Rohan will also be seen in the wonderful film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Diana Penty. Aayenge, which is being directed by Sabir Khan.
