A court in Jharkhand’s Ramgarh district on Thursday convicted suspended Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable Pawan Kumar Singh for shooting dead a porter, his wife and a pregnant daughter with his service revolver. The court awarded death sentence to Pawan Kumar Singh for the brutal murder of three family members of a coolie and injuring two others by shooting him with his service revolver. The incident took place on 17 August 2019 at a railway colony in Barkakana police post area of ​​Ramgarh district. Railway Protection Force jawan Pawan Kumar Singh killed railway porter Ashok Ram (55), his wife Leela Devi (39) and pregnant daughter Meena Devi (32) and killed Ram’s two other children Chintu Kumar and Suman Kumari. Was shot and injured. In this case, the court of Ramgarh Additional District Judge-First Sheshnath Singh sentenced Pawan Kumar Singh to death on Thursday.
