Mumbai scored 374 runs against Madhya Pradesh in their first innings of the Ranji Trophy final on the back of Sarfaraz Khan’s century.

New Delhi:

Mumbai batsman Sarfaraz Khan became very emotional after scoring a century against Madhya Pradesh on the second day of the Ranji Trophy final. The 24-year-old batsman celebrated his century with full zeal and emotion. On the completion of the century, he took off the helmet and raised the bat, meanwhile his eyes became moist with happiness. Along with this, he also did ‘Kabaddi Style Celebration’ like Shikhar Dhawan in the last. This season this is his fourth century (Sarfaraz Khan Century) and the total eighth century in first-class cricket. The BCCI has shared the video of this celebration of Sarfaraz Shan on Twitter.

BCCI captioned the video, “What a great innings in the title match.”

Sarfaraz Shan’s IPL team Delhi Capitals also shared the video and wrote, “100% pure emotion.”

Sarfaraz started the day on 40 runs and completed his half-century by playing 152 balls. Due to the fall of Mumbai’s wickets at the other end, Khan scored fast after the half-century.

He completed his remaining fifty runs in just 38 balls and worked to take Mumbai’s score beyond 300 runs.

Sarfaraz was dismissed after scoring 134 runs and thus Mumbai scored 374 runs in their first innings.
