New Delhi, Sarva Pitru Amavasya 2022: According to the Panchang, the Amavasya date of the month of Ashwin is known as Sarvapitri Amavasya. It is also called Mahalaya Amavasya. This year, the festival of Sarvapitri Amavasya is being celebrated on 25 September 2022, Sunday. On this day ancestors are given farewell along with performing Shradh Karma.
