SGPC elections on November 29: Sukhbir Badal will hold a meeting with the members in the SGPC office on the evening of November 28

The Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) elections will be held on November 29 at Teja Singh Marine Hall, preparations for which have been completed. During this, the Jan House will be called and 11 members will be elected unanimously. During this, apart from the President, the Senior Vice President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer besides members will be elected.

SGPC President Jagir Kaur told that the SGPC members pass a resolution to elect the Akali Dal President as the President, for which a meeting has been called on the evening of November 28 at the SGPC office. Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal will be present during this and will interact with the members of SGPC.

The very next morning, Teja Singh will be called to the public house at Marine Hall, where the post of Pradhan will be announced. If anyone has any objection, they can present their claim against the proposed name.

Lessons start from November 27 for the assembly elections

The recitation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib will be started on 27th November at Sri Akal Takht Sahib on behalf of Shiromani Akali Dal for the assembly elections. The bhog of this Akhand Path will be offered on November 29, in which candidates along with Akali Dal President Sukhbir Badal will also reach and offer prayers at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
