This year Sharadiya Navratri will start from 26th September and will continue till 4th October. There are four Navratri in a year, out of which two are called Gupta and the other two are called direct Navaratri. Shardiya Navratri starts from Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month and continues till Navami Tithi. In this Navratri coming in autumn, the power increases by worshiping the Goddess.
how to worship
1. Make-up items should be offered to the Goddess during Navratri. Coconut and saree must be offered. The Goddess is pleased by offering honey and hibiscus flowers. This fulfills the wish.
2. Fasting or fasting should be done for nine days. Due to this health remains good and tenacity increases. Worshiping the Goddess in this way during Navratri increases strength and age.
