New Delhi :
After Luka Chuppi, fans had high hopes from Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon’s film ‘Shehzada’. The promotion of the film was also done in a big way. After Karthik Aryan’s last hit ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, all eyes were on Shehzada. However, even after so many days of release, Karthik Aryan’s film is failing to impress people. Karthik Aryan’s Shehzada was the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapremulu. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the film was not only a blockbuster at the box office, but also one of the highest-grossing Telugu films. At the same time, the audience is not happy with its Hindi remake.
According to the initial figures, the film has seen a decline. Karthik Aryan and Kriti Sanon’s film has earned a total of 1-1.50 crores on the 7th day of its release. While the film earned 1.6 crores in India on the sixth day of its release. According to the latest reports, the total collection of Shehzada has gone up to 26.9-27.4 crores on the 7th day of its release at the domestic box office. It looks like the film is going to face tough competition from Shahrukh Khan’s Pathan. Directed by Siddharth Anand, this film is ruling the box office by becoming the first choice of the audience in theatres. Pathan has crossed the 500 crore mark in the fourth week of its release.
Talking about Shahzada, the film was released on 17 February. Apart from Karthik and Kriti, Manisha Koirala and Paresh Rawal have appeared in the lead roles in the film.
