To save the Uddhav government of Maharashtra from political crisis, Congress has chosen former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath. The party has made him an observer in the midst of this political upheaval. The Hotel Le Meridien in Surat where 30 MLAs of Shiv Sena stayed, belongs to the businessmen of Madhya Pradesh, but at 6 am today, 40 rebel MLAs including Eknath Shinde reached Guwahati from Surat on Wednesday morning by special flight. Here at the airport, Eknath Shinde reiterated that we will take Balasaheb Thackeray’s Hindutva forward.
Kamal Nath will try to save the Uddhav government in Maharashtra today. It is believed that due to the Madhya Pradesh connection of the hotel, Kamal Nath can play a big role in this political upheaval, but the ground of the political turmoil of Maharashtra has now shifted from Gujarat to Assam.

Personal security was not kept in the hotel
Gujarat State President CR Patil had booked 55 rooms of this 175-room hotel on behalf of BJP. These rooms are on the 4th and 5th floors. One guest was kept in each room. Apart from the MLAs, 25 people belonged to the BJP. No personal security was kept for them. Gujarat Police was the only security deployed. No other guest is allowed on these two floors of the hotel. For the sake of privacy and security, only a limited number of hotel staff have been given access to these two floors.
