Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating with allies, so that their support can be mobilized for the president of Lok Jan Shakti (Ram Vilas).

Patna:

In a shocking development, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has been entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating with allies to garner their support for the Lok Jan Shakti (Ram Vilas) president. Sources close to Chirag say that he is still considered a part of NDA and even PM Modi has said that Chirag is part of NDA. It is believed that Chirag will express his support to NDA’s presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu. This equation also fits the political agenda of Chirag’s Dalit-Adivasi, between Murmu’s strong prospects of becoming the first tribal and woman president. But it is also an indication that the top leadership of the BJP does not want to keep Nitish in a good mood in the case of Chirag Paswan.

This is a setback for Nitish and it means that the top leadership of BJP now not only wants to keep Chirag with them, but also does not want to remain under Nitish’s pressure on this issue. Nitish’s mind behind the split in the Lok Janshakti Party and the size of the BJP under his pressure was also the recognition of the new group in a hurry. This development has happened at a time when the violence that has taken place in Bihar over the Agneepath scheme, after which there has been a verbal war between BJP and JDU. Bihar BJP President Sanjay Jaiswal had warned the Nitish government about the attack on the house of party leaders. In response to this, JDU leader Lalan Singh had said that why BJP does not allow bullets to be fired in the states ruled by it. However, many questions are also being raised about Nitish Kumar’s silence regarding the Agneepath scheme and subsequent violence in Bihar.

Significantly, there was a split in the Lok Janshakti Party when Chirag’s uncle Pashupati Paras took control of the party along with other leaders, marginalizing him. Pashupati Paras became the Parliamentary President of Lok Janshakti Party. He was also later made a Union Minister in the NDA government.
