Madhya Pradesh is really strange, most amazing… Hearing about two cases from Ujjain district of the state, you will also say the same thing.

Bhopal:

When a person who bought country liquor in Ujjain submitted a complaint to the Excise Police Station with evidence, giving an application to the Home Minister, the Excise officers were also surprised and assured the drunkard of appropriate action after investigation, but action was not taken. This has angered the complainant. Lokendra Sothia, who lives in Bahadurganj, bought two bottles of country liquor on April 12, but when he was not intoxicated, he complained to the Excise Department, as well as sent a copy of it to the Home Minister. Even if the hearing did not happen till Saturday, May 7, he has now spoken of going to the consumer court and said that “I also want action so that justice should be done to those who drink alcohol”.

At the same time, the complaint of theft of slippers has reached the police station in village Tarod of Khachrod tehsil. The complainant has been assured by the police that whatever is concluded after the investigation, legal action will be taken.

Jitendra’s father Govardhan, who lives in Champakheda, village Tarod, 18 km from Khachrod, said in his application that “Sir, my black sandal worth Rs 180 was stolen from my house last night by some unknown person. If the said person steals and leaves my slippers at some other place, then in that case I can be implicated because I will not be responsible for improper use of my slippers by any other person. I am giving such information to you, you should take it seriously and take appropriate action.

Present outpost in-charge Ashok Katare assured the person by taking the application. He said that whatever appropriate action is taken will be taken. Police station in-charge Ravindra Yadav has also said that whatever legal action will be taken on the basis of interrogation of the person and other evidence. He has also assured the complainant that he will not be allowed to go wrong in any way.
