Bollywood actor Sonu Sood continues to dominate the industry. Actors remain in the headlines for both their acting life and social work. Meanwhile, on Sunday, he called former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo N Chandrababu Naidu and expressed grief over the untoward incident in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. Terming the alleged derogatory remarks as “unfortunate”, Sonu Sood said that he will meet the former CM during his next visit to Hyderabad. His reaction came when he saw Naidu in tears on television.

Chandrababu Naidu broke down while addressing the people on Friday and claimed that the YSRCP government led by CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was personally targeting his party leaders including him in the House.

“For the last two-and-a-half years, I have been suffering humiliation but kept calm. Today they have targeted my wife as well. I have always lived with respect. I cannot bear it any longer,” Naidu said.

In a statement, the TDP said they likened the assembly to ‘Kaurav Sabha’ and decided to boycott it till 2024 to protest “ugly character assassination” by YSRCP leaders.

“You (YSRCP) did not even allow me to make a statement, today I am saying that I will return to this assembly only after coming to power,” he said.

Andhra CM’s reaction

Slamming the TDP supremo, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the entire state knows how disappointed Naidu is. The Telugu Desam Party has also lost power in the Legislative Council. The AP CM said, “Chandrababu only wants to take political mileage out of everything. It is very unfortunate. His drama was visible to all, though I was not inside the House at that time.”

Reddy claimed that Naidu himself instigated people by talking on unnecessary, unrelated and inappropriate subjects in the Assembly and now that people have reacted, he is acting like this. Jagan said, “It was Chandrababu himself who spoke about the members of my family (killed uncle, mother and sister) and there was no reference to his family from our side. The records of the House clearly prove this. Is.”
