The provincial Kabaddi and Kho-Kho competition, which lasted till June 24, started at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Kumhartoli, Hazaribagh. Around 600 students from all over the state have come to participate in the Maha Kumbh of Kho Kho Kabaddi. Organized by Vidya Vikas Samiti, Jharkhand. The chief guest of the inaugural function was Parminder Singh Bais, IG, Border Security Force Training Center and Vidyalaya Meru. The IG inaugurated the sports function by worshiping Hanuman ji and worshiping Mother Saraswati. The students worshiped Hanuman.
The group of participants welcomed the guests by blowing the conch shell. The Chief Guest said that competitions provide an opportunity to showcase and develop physical abilities. There is a lesson to be learned from collective effort. Today the children involved in the competition will take over the various responsibilities of the country. He said that at present cricket is faster than a game like tennis, badminton, but Kabaddi Kho-Kho is the basic game. State Secretary of Vidya Vikas Samiti Ajay Kumar Tiwari said that to win in Kabaddi it is necessary to hold the feet. Holding on to your core in Kho-Kho brings victory.
Both the games teach us to stick to our ground and bow down, from both these games the students should learn to be humble.
