State Bureau, Prayagraj. The Tier-1 examination for recruitment to the posts of Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator and Senior Hindi Translator will be conducted on October 1. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the admit card on the regional website on Wednesday. The admit card cannot be downloaded now, but the district and date of the examination center can be seen. This admit card will start downloading four days before the exam.

Recruitment advertisement was issued on July 20

The Staff Selection Commission had released the advertisement on 20 July 2022 for recruitment to the posts of translator in Central Secretariat, Railway Board, Army Headquarters, Central Government Offices, Ministries. Online applications were taken till August 4. SSC has not yet declared the details of how many translator posts are vacant.

These posts belong to Group B non-gazetted category. Tier-1 and Tier-2 examination will be conducted for recruitment. Tier-I exam will be computer based multiple choice. Two hundred questions will be asked in this question paper of 200 marks. It has to be solved in two hours. Questions will be asked from General Hindi and General English. Successful candidates will have to appear in Tier-II written examination. The written examination will be of two hours for two hundred marks. There will be a test of translation and essay.
