Statue of Sushma Swaraj to be built in Madhya Pradesh, CM Shivraj made a big announcement

Madhya Pradesh: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today visited Vidisha district where he has made many big announcements. Significantly, Vidisha has been the parliamentary constituency of former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and CM Shivraj himself. When Sushma Swaraj was an MP from there, she had given the auditorium to Vidisha, whose work is going on fast. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has made a big announcement on Monday that the statue of late External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will be installed in this auditorium.

Let us tell you that CM Chouhan considered BJP leader Sushma Swaraj as his sister. On his behest, Swaraj also contested the Lok Sabha elections twice from the Vidisha parliamentary seat. On reaching Vidisha today, the CM first came to see the construction work of the auditorium where he has given many directions to the officials on the incomplete construction works. Along with this, it has been said to sanction an amount of three crores more for this construction work.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced to build a statue of Sushma Swaraj

The Chief Minister said- ‘This auditorium is the gift of our leader late MP and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, so a grand statue of Didi Sushma Swaraj will be installed here’. He said that it is because of the former foreign minister that the auditorium is being built in Vidisha.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also said that “the work of the ongoing auditorium in Vidisha is almost complete and will be inaugurated soon”. Please tell that this auditorium will be known as Rabindranath Nath Tagore Cultural Bhavan.

Vidisha is becoming education hub

The CM further said that ‘Vidisha is becoming an education hub as hospitals, medical colleges, girls’ colleges are already ready and new construction of hostels is going on. It is our endeavor that our daughters get everything in one place. At the same time, he said that after the end of Corona, now our tour program has started and we are closely watching all the works. However, even after Corona, the development works of Vidisha are not very backward and the works which are lacking are being completed by giving guidelines.

Sushma Swaraj, a two-time MP from Vidisha

It is worth mentioning that the former External Affairs Minister of India, Sushma Swaraj has been a two-time MP from Vidisha. She was first elected MP from Vidisha in 2009, when she played the role of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. She also won the second consecutive election in 2014 with a huge vote, after which she took the responsibility of foreign minister in the Modi government. However, due to health reasons, he refused to contest the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. Apart from him, CM Shivraj has also been elected MP from Vidisha parliamentary seat for five times.
