The market opened at a new peak on the day of weekly expiry. For the first time, Sensex opened at 61,088 and Nifty at 18,272 level. At present, the Sensex is trading 370 points higher at 61,100, the Nifty is trading 100 points higher at 18,260.
Out of 30 stocks of Sensex, 24 stocks are trading with gains and 6 stocks are trading with weakness. In which Infosys shares are trading with a gain of more than 4%, Tech Mahindra shares. On the other hand, there is a weakness of about 1% in the share of M&M.

FII and DII data
Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) made purchases of Rs 937.31 crore on Wednesday, 13 October. On the other hand, Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) pulled out Rs 431.72 crore from the market.
Crude crosses $83
The price of Brent crude remains above $ 83 per barrel. Crude prices are getting support due to global supply side concerns. In the US also inventory is not normalized yet. Crude has become more than 80% expensive in a year.
