What are the benefits of fasting during Navratri?

Now is the time for the junction of the seasons. Chances of getting seasonal diseases increase during these days. Even without wanting, there is negligence in eating and drinking. There is a rapid change in the weather, our body is not able to adapt itself to that fast and problems like cold, cold, mental stress, pain, indigestion, gas, acidity start happening. Fasting and meditation done during the nine days of Navratri increases our immunity and makes the body ready to fight against these diseases.

If you want to avoid stress, then meditate daily

Worship the Mother Goddess duly in the temple of the house or in any other temple. After worshiping, sit in Padmasana or Sukhasana by laying a seat.

Calm down your mind and close your eyes. After this, put your full attention on the command chakra between both the eyes.

While meditating, the speed of inhalation and exhalation should be kept normal. This is how you should meditate. Initially the flow of thoughts remains in the mind, but after some time while meditating the thoughts do not remain in the mind.

By doing meditation in this way, the mind starts to concentrate and the disturbance is removed.
