Strictness on coaching institutes in Rewari: Academy, gym and coaching center closed; DC issued strict orders

In view of the opposition to the Agneepath scheme in the Indian Army, Rewari DC Ashok Kumar Garg has issued orders to close the coaching center, academy and gym with immediate effect. Along with this, instructions were given to the officers to strictly implement the orders.

In the order issued, the Collector said that in protest against the Agneepath scheme issued by the Central Government for the recruitment of youth in the army, there is a possibility of disturbing the peace system of the district by the youth organizations of the student organizations and political parties. In such a situation, while issuing orders to keep all gyms, academies and coaching centers running in Rewari closed, necessary guidelines have been issued to the concerned officials. This will continue till further orders.

Let us tell you that there was a lot of ruckus 5 days ago in protest against the Agneepath scheme. Hundreds of youths not only ransacked, but also pelted stones while protesting furiously. Later, the police had to lathi-charge at Naiwali Chowk. Since then, security arrangements have been tightened in the district. Police force has been deployed from the station to the bus stand and other public palaces. After in Rewari, the very next day there were fierce demonstrations in Narnaul. There too the police had to lathicharge twice.

3 days ago in Mahendragarh, the furious protesters created a ruckus. The situation here became so tense that it took a long time for the police to handle it. The protesters not only ransacked, but also set fire to many places. The railway track was blocked. Along with breaking the glass of many showrooms, three vehicles were set on fire, after which the net had to be closed by imposing section 144. However, for the last two days, the atmosphere is calm in both Rewari and Mahendragarh districts.
