Dubai, PTI. Players of the Indian women’s and men’s team are included in the top players on the basis of their performance in the batting and bowling rankings published by the International Cricket Council. In the latest released ODI batting rankings by the ICC, Indian captain Mithali Raj is leading, while the experienced Jhulan Goswami is at second place in the bowling. Both the experienced players of India have shown strength in the rankings.

Veteran India batsman Mithali Raj retained her third position in the list of batsmen in the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings released on Tuesday while veteran compatriot Jhulan Goswami remained at the second spot in the bowlers’ list. There was no change in the top-10 in the women’s batting rankings. Mithali is behind South Africa’s Lizelle Lee (761) and Australia’s Alyssa Healy (750) with 738 points. Another Indian batsman Smriti Mandhana remains in sixth place with 710 points.

Bangladesh’s batsmen have benefited. Fargana Haque and Rumana Ahmed have been successful in moving forward. Fargana’s 45-run knock from 90 balls laid the foundation for Bangladesh’s victory and is up a place to be at 25th position. Rumana, who played an unbeaten 50, has jumped five places to be at 29th position.
