Ahead of the T20 World Cup starting in UAE and Oman, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has launched Team India’s new jersey. Captain Virat Kohli, Vice-Captain Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah pose in stylish new colors with the first glimpse of the new jersey. Fans on social media are excited to see Team India’s new kit, as well as comparing it with the dress of other countries.
BCCI launched the jersey of the Indian team and wrote on its social media handle, “Billion Cheers Jersey”. However, cricket fans on social media are comparing this jersey with the kit of the Sri Lankan team.

One user wrote that the real fun of this new jersey will come when Team India will be able to win the T20 World Cup. Let us tell you that since the 2007 World Cup, the Indian team has not been able to become the T20 World Champion. The last time India was knocked out by West Indies in a semi-final match was in 2016.
T20 World Cup: India’s matches
Team India, led by Virat Kohli, will start their World Cup campaign against Pakistan on 24 October at the Dubai Cricket Stadium. Before this, the Indian team will play a warm-up match against Australia on 18 October and England on 19 October. India has been placed in Group B, which apart from Pakistan, also includes the team of New Zealand and Afghanistan.
