New Delhi, Jnn. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Veteran actor Ghanshyam Nayak, who ruled the hearts of the audience by playing the role of Nattu Kaka in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has passed away recently. After battling a deadly disease like cancer for months, Ghanshyam Nayak said goodbye to this world on 3 October. Everyone is deeply saddened by his passing. Ghanshyam Nayak fought a deadly disease like cancer for about a year and returned to work after recovering. But in March one, his condition deteriorated again and he left this world. At the same time, Ghanshyam Nayak’s son told about his last time.

In a conversation with Etimes, Ghanshyam Nayak’s son Vikas spoke about the actor’s last moments. Vikas told, ‘Father had 9 chemotherapy sessions. There were 5 chemotherapy sessions last year and 4 this year. After this he also had 30 radiation sessions. During treatment, it seemed that Papa’s condition was improving. But when Papa’s face got swollen in the month of March 2021 this year, we thought it might be the effect of radiation. At the same time, when we got the test done again, it was found that the cancer had now spread to his lungs.

Vikas further said, ‘In between, when Papa’s health improved a bit, he insisted on going back to the shooting of ‘Taarak Mehta…’. Not only this, he also shot an ad. But when he was tested again, it was found that the cancer has now spread to his body parts. On October 2, when my father asked me, who am I? He had even forgotten his name. At that moment I realized that now he has started leaving the world.
