After two days of respite from the cold in Kashmir, the night temperature once again remained below freezing point at most places. Meteorological Department officials said that only in Kokernag in South Kashmir, the temperature remained above the freezing point. He said that the temperature in Srinagar was minus 1.3 degrees Celsius on Thursday night, while the temperature there on Tuesday night was 0.4 degrees Celsius.

Officials said the temperature in Pahalgam was minus 3.3 degrees Celsius, the coldest region in Kashmir. Gulmarg Resort in north Kashmir’s Baramulla recorded a low of minus 1.8 degrees Celsius. Kupwara in north Kashmir recorded a low of minus 1.9 degrees Celsius.
