Digital labs will be set up in all government model culture schools in the district. 20 laboratories and four multipurpose halls will be built in four schools of the district at a cost of 2.5 crores. All science equipments will be available in the laboratories. The tender process for their construction has started. The Education Department is making continuous efforts to enhance the quality of education in government schools. Under this, the Education Department has decided to set up 20 new laboratories in four model culture schools in four out of five blocks of the district.

While the State Model Sanskriti School of Kalanaur block already has labs and multipurpose halls. The construction of new laboratories will cost Rs 2.5 crore. Each school will have laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, music and computers. About twelve to fifteen lakh rupees will be spent on a lab. Although schools are currently on holiday, due to which the work of setting up laboratories in schools may take time to start.

Creating laboratories in schools will benefit the students of rural schools. At the same time, interest in the Faculty of Science will increase in them. There is talk of starting the construction of laboratories as soon as the summer vacations are over.
