In the first innings of this test match, Indian batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran scored a century while batting well. Team’s opener batsman Prithvi Shaw along with Abhimanyu Easwaran scored 48 runs while captain and second opener batsman Priyank Panchal missed the century by just 4 runs and scored 96 runs. Earlier, South Africa’s team scored 509 runs for 7 wickets in the first innings.

Abhimanyu Ishwaran scored a century

Indian middle-order batsman Abhimanyu scored a century while batting with impeccable patience. He hit a century facing 194 balls. He hit 16 fours during this innings. During his innings, he faced the South African bowlers and batted fearlessly. He also made a century partnership of 142 runs with Priyank Panchal for the second wicket. After this, he shared a 42-run partnership with Hanuma Vihari for the third wicket. He scored a total of 103 runs in this innings facing 209 balls. Hanuma Vihari also scored 25 runs in the first innings of this match.
