CRPF jawan Dharmendra Kumar was martyred while fighting the Naxalites in Nuapada district of Odisha on Tuesday. His mortal remains were brought to his native village, Saraiya in Rohtas, on Thursday morning. The crying wife told that ‘On Tuesday morning, she was talking to him on the phone. He said – I am going on duty now, I call in the evening. But in the evening there was information about his martyrdom.
In fact, in Nuapada district of Odisha, a team was attacked by Naxalites on Tuesday, in which three CRPF personnel including Dharmendra Kumar were martyred. Here, hundreds of bike riders reached Saraiyan village along with the car carrying the mortal remains of the martyr. As soon as the body of the CRPF jawan reached the village, people gathered to pay tribute to him. People saluted him with respect by waving the tricolor. Along with this, slogans of martyr Dharmendra Amar Rahe were raised. Shahabad DIG, SP Ashish Bharti, who reached the spot, also reached and paid tribute to the martyr.

People got emotional due to daughter’s cry
At the same time, the CRPF jawans who came with the dead body also became emotional due to the crying of the children, the wife of the martyred jawan. The martyr jawan left behind his wife Asha Devi, 12-year-old son Roshan, 10-year-old daughter Khushi. His father Ramayan Singh is a farmer and mother is a simple housewife. He is deeply saddened to lose the support of his old age, but he is also proud of the supreme sacrifice of his son.
