Addressing the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and other artistes participating in the Republic Day parade celebrations this year, the Prime Minister also said that challenges ranging from the space sector to environment and climate Till today India is working for the future of the whole world.

Modi said that border and coastal areas pose different challenges and for this also special training is being imparted to the youth so that they can play the role of ‘first responders’ when needed.
The Prime Minister said that his government is promoting development and creating various facilities in the border areas to make them vibrant.
He said the aim is to empower the young population and create better avenues for education and employment so that people can return to these villages.
Modi advised the youth to work with ‘team spirit’ and said that success always comes from the efforts of many.
Referring to India’s chairmanship of G-20, he asked the youth to read about it and discuss it among themselves in schools and colleges.
He also suggested them to participate in various programs citing the example of “Swachh Bharat” campaign.
