Addressing the National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets and National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers and other artistes participating in the Republic Day parade celebrations this year, the Prime Minister also said that challenges ranging from the space sector to environment and climate Till today India is working for the future of the whole world.

The Prime Minister described the participation of youth in various programs in large numbers as encouraging and said that NCC and NSS connect the young generation with national concerns.

Modi said that border and coastal areas pose different challenges and for this also special training is being imparted to the youth so that they can play the role of ‘first responders’ when needed.
