The government has made 3 months skill training and 4 hours daily internship mandatory for unemployment allowance beneficiaries. However, the students who have done professional courses will not have to do skill training for 3 months. Such applicants will have to inform the department, who have done B.Ed, B.Tech, MBBS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharma degree or diploma or certificate. Such applicants do not need skill training. The application will be verified on fulfilling the eligibility conditions in this scheme.
New training courses will be ready for those with other degrees
RSLDC is responsible for 3 months training
The skill training courses available so far are not of graduate level. In such a situation, now for training the applicants for unemployment allowance, courses will be prepared according to their degree, as it will start from January. From January, Chief Minister Yuva Sambal Yojana – In 2021, with an increase of one thousand in allowances, 4 thousand rupees will be given to men and 4500 rupees to women and specially abled people.
However, for exemption from training, the applicant will have to upload a certificate of skill training or professional courses. Exemption from training will be available only after verification.
Earlier, allowance was being given to 1.60 lakh youth, increasing which the government has decided to give allowance to 2 lakh youth. It is worth mentioning that from January, the allowance takers will have to do 4 hours daily internship in government offices, 3 months skill training will be necessary from RSLDC.
2.59 lakh allowance
