Due to the urban body elections in Sagar, the BJP had declared its councilor candidates in all the 48 wards of the Sagar Municipal Corporation. But in Itwari Tauri ward, the screw got stuck regarding the councilor candidate. After the intervention of former Chief Minister of the state Uma Bharti, the ticket of the councilor of Itwari Tauri ward has been changed. The BJP had earlier fielded Laxman Singh of Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh’s camp here. But after the intervention of the former CM, now Rajesh alias Rinku Namdev will be the BJP councilor candidate from Itwari Tauri. The BJP has released the revised list of councilor candidates on Tuesday.

In fact, in the Sagar Municipal Corporation elections, the BJP declared its councilor candidates. All have submitted their nominations. On June 22, BJP will issue a mandate to everyone. Even before this, the screw got stuck regarding Itwari Tauri ward. Here former Chief Minister Uma Bharti was adamant on the insistence of getting a councilor ticket to her supporter. He discussed with the state level office bearers of the party and clearly said that the ticket should be given to our supporters only. After which there was a stir in Sagar BJP.

Because BJP had made Laxman Singh of Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh’s camp as councilor candidate from Itwari Tauri ward. Due to which the matter seemed to get more complicated. After the discussions, the party has declared Rajesh alias Rinku Namdev, a supporter of former CM Uma Bharti from Itwari Tauri ward, as the councilor candidate of the BJP, while changing the ticket of the councilor candidate. Rinku has already submitted her nomination.
