Every person’s physical capacity is different. If some people do not eat for a long time, then their health does not make much difference, while some people remain hungry for a while, then they start having problems like headache, dizziness and vomiting. During the fast, most of the problems are caused by drinking less water, so do not reduce the water intake during the fast, but increase it. Assuming water means liquids. So apart from water, drinking buttermilk, curd, lassi, lemonade, fruit juice will not make you feel weak.
Tips to stay healthy during fasting
Stay away from fried items as much as possible during the fast as it can cause stomach problems.
Keep consuming different types of dry fruits in small amounts.
Rock salt should also be consumed in limited quantity.
Trying to fill the stomach in one go during the fast is not right. This can worsen digestion.
Fruits must be consumed during fasting. Because along with filling the stomach, they also provide essential nutrients for the body. Fruits like papaya, pineapple, apple, banana, pear are rich in fiber and beneficial in every way. Double the amount of fruits compared to other days.
Curd, gourd raita are such food items which are easily digested and are also healthy, then they can be taken in fasting.
Don’t overdo the tea. Two to three cups a day is enough.
Consuming boiled potatoes, Ramdana, water chestnut-buckwheat flour, cucumber, gourd, curd, makhana, peanuts, cooked pumpkin pudding, sago etc. will be beneficial for health during the fast.
