At this price, the base variant of the MG Astor is more affordable than the starting ex-showroom prices of the Hyundai Creta (10.16), Kia Seltos (9.95), Skoda Kushaq (10.50) and Volkswagen Taigun (10.50).
MG Astor Base Variant Features: MG Astor Style i.e. Aster Base variant not only in terms of price but also in terms of features, it seems to be heavy on its rivals. Talking about the features of the base variant of the Aster, it will get a full-LED ‘hockey’ headlamps with LED DRLs, rear defogger and fog lamps, rear keyless entry + foldable keys, 10-inch HD touchscreen infotainment, automatic AC with PM 2.5 filter. Electronic power steering dash with three modes, center console, leatherette layering on the door trims, electronic stability program and hill descent control, all wheel disc brakes are some of the features as standard.
MG Astor Base Variant Engine : Talking about the engine and power of the base variant of MG Astor, it has a 1.5-litre VTi-TECH petrol engine. This naturally aspirated petrol unit generates a maximum power of 110PS and peak torque of 144Nm. In the Style variant, the engine is mated to a 5-speed MT. You also get the option of CVT automatic gearbox in the higher variant.
