Punjab Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja is not ready to listen to a single word of Vading Transporters. Therefore, the buses of non-tax paying transport are not being stopped, while they have been demanding tax waiver for a long time. Buses are being stopped continuously by the Transport Minister and recently taking action, 13 private buses have also been closed. Five buses of New Deep and one each from Orbit, Travel Point, RS Yadav, Libra, Nagpal, Dabbawali, Guru Nanak and Northern have been confiscated by the officials of the Transport Department for violating the rules. All these buses belong to the transporters belonging to Shiromani Akali Dal Badal.

At the same time, Transport Minister Amarinder Singh Raja Vading has said that the campaign of checking will continue till every illegally plying bus gets off the roads. The motive behind this is to bring the transport sector of the state back on track. Therefore, strict instructions have been issued to crack down on private bus operators who evade tax. At the same time, the private bus operators who evade tax have also been alerted to pay their due tax as soon as possible and complete the vehicle documents. Otherwise no tax evader will be spared at any cost. Strict action will be taken against him.

Loss caused during the Corona period, transporters asking for tax apology

Transporters say that the transport did not run during the Corona period. Because of this, he has suffered a loss of crores of rupees, not lakhs, due to which he is very upset. A delegation of transporters had met former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and demanded that they have suffered a huge loss due to the Corona hit and free travel of women passengers in government buses. Because of which he wants the government to give him some relief. Not only this, due to this loss, tax has not been paid on their behalf. But earlier they have been paying taxes and now the government is doing atrocities with them.

Why only opposing parties are being targeted: Dhillon

Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon, operator of New Deep Transport, says that the tax was not paid on his behalf due to the submission of the memorandum to the government. Tax has not been paid by the transporters of entire Punjab. But only the Badal family or transporters belonging to them are being targeted. The Transport Minister has not yet closed a single bus belonging to a Congress transporter. Because of this his action is under question. Can the minister answer this?

Raja Vading is taking continuous action

The attitude of Amarinder Singh Raja Vading was seen against the transporters from day one. In the first meeting itself, orders were given to take action against those who did not pay taxes. Till now he has taken action on around 80 buses and this is going on continuously. District wise teams have been formed on their behalf and these teams are continuously conducting a search operation by stopping the buses on the roads.
