After the firing in Wasseypur, the junior doctors went on strike for 24 hours on Thursday on the misbehavior of the people who reached SNMMCH with the little mine. Later, on the assurance of the superintendent, he returned to work on Thursday evening. Junior doctors said they still felt unsafe and were finding it difficult to work.

During the uproar on Wednesday, a female intern was abused and even dragged. During such uproar, a few guards and private security personnel present in the hospital run away. Despite repeated assurances, no security arrangements were made in the hospital premises.

The junior doctors said that they met the superintendent in this regard, after which talking to the DC was assured to take necessary steps for the security at the earliest. It is worth mentioning that with the technical approval of the police picket construction in the hospital, an estimate of Rs 24,89,350 was sent to the DDC. Till now administrative approval has not been received and the amount has not been allocated.

Here, the relatives of the patients admitted in the wards made a ruckus if there was no treatment

The medical system of the hospital completely collapsed during the junior doctors’ strike. Along with the emergency, there was no one to see the patients in the indoor ward. Many patients brought to the emergency continued to suffer without treatment. Due to lack of treatment, the patient along with his family got upset. The family created a ruckus in the ward several times during this period.

The relatives of a worker working in the civil court, who came for treatment of jaundice and liver, told that he was admitted to the ward with great difficulty, but even after 12 hours, no doctor came to see him. The patient’s condition is deteriorating, but when asked about the doctor, no one is telling anything. The nurse on duty also closed the line at night. Later the senior doctor came to see him.

The superintendent’s strange words: the fault of the system, no one is safe

Superintendent of the hospital Dr AK Varnwal said that nothing can be done for this to happen again with the doctors. We have seen the killing of the Father of the Nation, Prime Minister, Former PM, no one is safe. The system will change, only then people will be safe. The superintendent said that the DC has been discussed on the security in the hospital premises, the district administration is working on making a police picket. After persuasion, the junior doctor has again returned to work.
