In Haryana, the election results of Narayangarh Municipality of Ambala district will be declared by Wednesday afternoon. The counting center has been set up in the Government College where the counting of votes will start from 8 am. The administration has completed the preparations related to counting of votes.
Counting will start at 8 am and election trends will start coming by 8.30 pm. Since there are not many voters in this election, the electoral picture will be completely clear by 11 am. The candidates are claiming their respective victories, but whose decision will be crowned by Chaudhar, it will be clear only after the counting of 40 EVMs.
Counting will be done in 5 rounds, administration put 8 tables
In the municipal elections, 20 booths were made for 15 wards by the administration. Now the administration has put 8 tables for counting. Out of these, counting of the President and 4 of the Councilor will be done. Counting will be done in 5 rounds. Election Officer and SDM Saloni Sharma said that the counting process will be completed by 11-12 am on Wednesday. All the preparations have been completed by the administration.
Triangular contest in municipal elections
According to the residents of Narayangarh Municipality, there is a triangular contest here. The main contest is being told between Congress VS Congress Vs BJP. Here the families of two old Congress leaders are in a way face to face. These include Mamta Rani, wife of Congress’s urban unit chief Deshbandhu Jindal, and Rinki Walia, wife of former president and Congressman Amit Walia. Here BJP candidate Preetpal Kaur Makkar is also in the fray.
A total of 7 candidates are in the fray for the post of Narayangarh Municipality President and 45 candidates for Councilor.
INLD’s Amita Sahni, Aam Aadmi Party’s Anita Devi, BSP’s Kamala Devi and Independent Selja Sharma are also in the fray for the president’s post here.
3 layer security at counting center
Narayangarh police station in-charge Inspector Vijay Kumar said that more than 300 jawans will be deployed during the counting of votes. There will be 3 layer security at the polling station. Every event will be videographed. Police will block 5 to 6 places. Guidelines have also been issued regarding the procession after winning the election.
