Farmers paid homage to Lakhimpur violence victims at a Pucca Morcha picketing site at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Stadium on Barnala Road in Haryana’s Sirsa district. Haryana Kisan Manch State President Prahlad Singh Bharukheda said that the victims of violence were paid their last respects by getting Sukhmani Sahib recited in the morning. In this program, farmers from all over the district reached and expressed their condolences.
On the front, farmers across the country are agitating against the three agricultural laws made by the central government. In Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, a few days ago, the son of a BJP leader along with his comrades rammed the car on the people who were protesting, due to which 4 farmers sitting there were badly crushed and also injured a lot. Even after such a big incident, not even two words of sympathy came out of the mouth of the government for the farmers.
Bharukheda said that this incident happened after the statement of Chief Minister Manoharlal, in which he had given a statement to take a stand on BJP workers, which does not suit him as the head of a state. He said that the government intoxicated with power is forcing the common man to groan, but he does not know that the people who have put him in power.
At the same time, the public will not take long to push him to the floor. Till all the three agricultural laws are not withdrawn, the farmers will not budge from here. A large number of farmers including Satpal Singh Sirsa, Zinda Nanuana, Happy Queens, Sukhwinder Singh Dharampura, Lakha Singh Alikan, Chan Aulakh were present on this occasion.
